Manish Tewari presents Dadasaheb Phalke award to Pran at his home

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari on Friday presented Dadasaheb Phalke award to Veteran actor Pran at his home in Mumbai.

Pran who is known as the Bollywood’s Black gold was unable to visit Delhi last week to collect the award due to his ill health.

Pran appeared in more than 300 films which include blockbuster movies like ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Kaalia’ and ‘Don’. He has also been honoured with the Padma Bhushan for his contribution to Indian cinema.
