‘Talaash’ not based on Aarushi murder case

New Delhi : Since the promos of Aamir Khan starrer ‘Talaash’ went on air, rumours were rife that the film was inspired from the much publicized Aarushi murder case. However, producer of the film Ritesh Sidhwani has now rubbished such reports.

We, at Excel Entertainment, are disturbed by irresponsible media reports saying that we had pursued the details of the Aarushi murder investigation to aid the making of our film. Our film is a work of fiction that bears no resemblance to the Aarushi case. We do not believe in exploiting other people’s tragedies.
