Yash Chopra, the ‘King of Romance’ laid to rest

MUMBAI  : Veteran film director Yash Chopra was cremated at the Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai today.

The funeral was attended by family members and close associates from the Bollywood fraternity.

Uday Chopra, the younger son of Yash Chopra broke down when his elder brother and filmmaker Aditya Chopra gave his father ‘mukhagni’ at the cremation ground. Chopra passed away on Sunday evening at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital due to multi-organ failure.

The legendry filmmaker, who had turned 80 on September 27 this year, was busy preparing for the release of his last directorial venture  Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
