Katrina Kaif says she has no unaccounted money

Actor Katrina Kaif on Thursday rejected media reports about possessing ‘ unaccounted money,” issuing a statement three days after the Income Tax sleuths raided her homes for alleged tax evasion.

The reports about Katrina’s “unaccounted income” were incorrect, it said.

Whist admitting a search was conducted by the IT department at her residence, Katrina Kaif’s chartered firm said: “My client is disturbed by the speculative reports circulating in the media that she has disclosed (to the department) unaccounted income running into crores, and unaccounted lockers were found.”

“Katrina is fully cooperating with the IT Department, whom she holds in high regard.”

Besides the house of Katrina, IT officials searched the houses of Priyanka Chopra, premises of Chopra’s father, Matrix, a celeb management company that handles Kaif’s endorsement, photographer Atul Kasbekar, and Chand Misra, Chopra’s personal assistant.
