Shabbir Ahluwalia wins Khatron Ke Khiladi-3

Mumbai : Television star Shabbir Ahluwalia won the third season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, Indian version of Fear Factor, as Shabbir and his partner Sushma outshone other three competitors in the finale, which was aired on Colors channel on Thursday night.

Shabbir, well-known for his roles in TV serials like ‘Kahiin Toh Hoga’ and ‘Kayamath’, pocketed a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh and a Scorpio car.

He out-performed squash player Ritwik Bhattacharya in the final, while the other two finalists – model-actors Milind Soman and Dino Morea – were ousted after the first stunt of the grand finale.

The finale involved a stunt where one partner was required to walk atop a train in motion at 55 kmph and coordinate with his partner who was under the train.

The second stunt required them to drive a car from under a truck – and whichever team did so the maximum times, won the show.

The show required the participants to perform several dare-devil stunts under water or from great heights or with creepy creatures.

Hosted by Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, the show the shot in Brazil and had 13 male celebrity competitors, paired with female partners.
