Shahid Kapoor?s khichdi connection

Comedy film Khichdi?s heroine Kirti is a big time fan of Bollywood hunk Shahid Kapoor and this is known by her co-actor J D Majethia.

During the screening of the film, JD had a surprise for Kirti.

Shahid dropped in at the screening all of a sudden; and by looking at him, Kirti was dumbfounded.

She could not believe her eyes and started fumbling.

Later she came to know that it was JD who requested Shahid?s step-mom Supriya Pathak to invite Shahid to surprise Kirti.

Shahid literally stated glowing when he came to know that the heroine of the film is his big follower.

However, Kirti-kahani does not end here.

This is a first film of Kirti and obviously she is in a full lively mood.

The first show of this film was screened for the actors and their relatives.

While her colleagues invited two ?three relatives and friends to the screening, Kirti invited more than 50 relatives.

There were not that many seating spaces and Kirti was felt very humiliated.

Here also, her producer and hero JD came to her rescue and arranged a second screening for her relatives to save her from further embarrassment.

Going back a little, the shooting of the film ?Khichdi? took additional 15 days from the usual date decided, as the heroine (Kirti) is ?new?.

While reading her scripts, she used to snort so much that 12-14 retakes were predictable.

Apart from that, when five known members of the Khichdi family started delivering dialogues with their famous mannerisms, Kirti couldn?t stop laughing; and by looking at her, all the members of Khichdi family also used to start laughing.
