A new character in the cast of “Diya Aur Baati Hum”

Mumbai:  Actor Sarwar Ahuja known for his role in the series “Punar Vivah??? will be seen in the popular series  “Diya Aur Baati Hum” playing a role of police inspector. He says despite being a cameo, his appearance in the TV show is “crucial” as it will join bits and pieces of a murder case. He will be introduced in the Thursday episode.

The actor, who was seen in a Punjabi movie called “Patiala Dreamz” in 2014, will be essaying the role of a police inspector on the Star Plus show. His character will be seen entering the show to solve the mysterious murder of a character named Mohit (played by Varun Jain).

“I am entering the show at an extremely crucial point. The track has a lot of mystery attached to it and I am really looking forward to connecting the dotted lines bit by bit. My character is that of a police inspector named Satyadev, who will be appointed along with a female protagonist to solve Mohit’s murder case,??? Sarwar said in a statement.

Last timed with Diwali, “Diya Aur Baati Hum??? logged 1,200 episodes and Sarwar can’t be more happy to be a part of the series after it registered the benchmark.
