’10 terror strikes in India after 26/11′

Ten terror attacks took place in India after the 26/11 Mumbai strike and 16 people allegedly involved in the strikes were arrested, Minister of State for Home Jitendra Singh told the Rajya Sabha Wednesday.

The minister said that after the Mumbai attack Nov 26-29, 2008, 10 bomb blasts took place in the country, including the Israeli embassy car blast in Delhi and the Delhi High Court blast last year.

There were also explosions at Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy Stadium and Pune’s German Bakery.

According to the minister, a chargesheet had been filed in the German Bakery case Dec 4, 2010 against an accused, while a case against six people was presently being heard in a Goa court in connection with the Margao blast Oct 16, 2009.
