10-year-old rape victim put behind bars in Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr/Greater Noida /New Delhi/Ahmedabad  :  Senior officials will probe the incident of a 10-year-old rape victim put behind the bars by women police in Bulandshahr. The 10-year old was raped on Sunday.

A police case was registered and the child along with her mother was sent to local hospital for medical tests.

As they returned to the police station on Monday morning the women police locked up the young girl.

The girl was later sent home to her mother. As of now, two women constables have been suspended for being involved in the incident.

Meanwhile, cutting across party lines, all political parties condemned the incident.
