2 teenagers die in explosion in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Apr 13: Two teenage boys were killed and five others were injured in an explosion in Karnah sector Kupwara district. Police has launched investigations to ascertain the facts.

Reports reaching here said that an explosion took place in Jabri Bijildar village of Karnah near LoC in Kupwara district Monday late evening. At least seven persons were in injured.

Adil12 years, and Faisal 13 got killed while five others were injured. One among the injured ?has been shifted to Bone Joint hospital Srinagar and four others are being treated in local hospital of Karnah.

Police said that they have launched the investigations to ascertain the facts. ?The village is near LoC and preliminary investigations reveal that they were fiddling with explosive,? a senior police officer in Kupwara said. He said that the locals gather exploded ammunition of troopers and sell it. ?It was unexploded and they gathered it,? he added.
