3 Congress MPs quit party in cause of separate Telangana states

Hyderabad/New Delhi  : Three senior Congress leaders from Andhra Pradesh have announced their plans to quit the party and to join the crusade of the Telangana Rajya Samiti (TRS) to create separate state of Telangana.

The lawmakers met the founder and President of TRS, Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao at Hyderabad.

They termed their resignation as support to the demand of the people of Telangana region for a separate state.

Keshav Rao, Gaddam Vivekanand and Manda Jagannadham were the prominent leaders who proposed to quit the party and join the TRS in the cause of Telangana. Gaddam Vivekanand lashed at Congress for not keeping its word.
