3 DMK ministers meet PM, formally resign

New Delhi  : A day after formally withdrawing support from the Congress-led UPA government, 3 DMK ministers have submitted their resignation letters to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday.

Two others are yet to resign. The party president M Karunanidhi issued a statement saying: “Our demands were not considered by the government” and “We reiterate our demands for a stronger resolutions”.
