36 cops suspended for taking bribes in Mumbai

Mumbai  : Mumbai police has suspended 36 policemen from Nehru police station for allegedly accepting bribes to construct an illegal construction in Chembur area in the state, during a sting operation by a whistle blower.

The whistleblower alleged that Nehru Nagar policemen had been extorting money from the residents of illegal buildings for several years now.
