A Raja?s CBI custody extended by 2 days ?
Former Telecom Minister A Raja was on Tuesday remanded in further two days of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody in connection with the multi-billion-rupee 2G spectrum allocation scam.

?Raja was produced at the court of special CBI judge OP Saini at the end of his five-day CBI custody.

?The investigating agency sought further four days of custody, but were allowed two days.

?Raja?s personal secretary RK Chandolia and Telecom Secretary during his tenure-Siddharth Behuria, who were arrested with Raja, were sent to judicial remand as the CBI did not seek further custody of the duo.

?Raja was produced in the Patiala House Court here on Feb 3 after he was arrested the day before by the CBI? under sections 120B, 13(2), 13(1D) of Prevention of Corruption Act on the charges of criminal conspiracy, abuse of official provision and unduly favouring private companies in the 2G spectrum allocation.
