AAP volunteers burnt the effigy of V.K. Singh
Ghaziabad: On Saturday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers burnt the effigy of union minister Gen. V.K. Singh (Retd) here.
The volunteers prospered in burning the effigy at the party’s Maliwara office but another attempt to burn it in Sahibabad area was foiled by police.
About 100 volunteers assembled at the party office in Maliwara and alarmed slogans against the minister who represents Ghaziabad in the 16th Lok Sabha.
AAP leader Mukesh Prajapati said that the minister should immediately be dismissed from the cabinet.
He added, “The former army chief’s mind set is feudal. He compared Dalits with dog which is his internal feeling… he is definitely an anti-Dalit in the BJP”.
