Arvind Kejriwal prays for “return of peace” in Punjab
Amritsar: On Saturday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal worshipped at the Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple, here and said “no one could live in peace after insulting holy scriptures”.
Stating that he prayed for “return of peace” in Punjab, which is witnessing protests in some parts over desecration of Sikhs’ holy book Guru Granth Sahib, “I also appeal to the people of Punjab to maintain peace,” Kejriwal said.
Arvind Kejriwal took a time off to visit Punjab in order to meet the families of those two youths who were killed in police firing while protesting against the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in Faridkot district.
