Ashok Khemka takes U turn after meeting Chief Secy
Chandigarh : Haryana’s IAS officer Ashok Khemka, whose untimely transfer raised a whole new controversy in the political arena, today took a U turn after meeting with the state’s Chief Secretary, PK Chaudhary and said that he was satisfied with Chaudhary’s response on his transfer.
Meanwhile, Haryana’s Town and Country Planning head T C Gupta slammed Ashok Khemka for cancelling the mutation of Robert Vadra DLF land deal and said that the order contained “factual inaccuracies” and had been passed in “total disregard of administrative propriety”.
On his last day in his previous office on October 15, Khemka had cancelled a Rs. 58 crore deal between businessman Robert Vadra and real estate company DLF. The government had said that Khemka’s decision to invalidate the transaction was incorrect.
