BJP holds nationwide protest against Shinde’s ‘Hindu-terror’ remark

Demanding the dismissal of Union Home Minister, Sushilkumar Shinde for his “Hindu terror” remarks, the BJP today went on a nationwide protest.

The party’s newly-elected president Rajnath Singh led the demonstrations at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi where the workers burnt effigies of Sushil Kumar Shinde.

Reiterating the party’s demand senior BJP leaders said that the home minister should be sacked. Meanwhile, in Bhopal senior BJP leader Balbir Punj said that Shinde should be charged with sedition for the controversial remark.

In Chennai, BJP workers and leaders took out a protest march and shouted slogans against the home minister and the Congress led UPA government.
