Fire breaks out in Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani Express

A fire broke out in the pantry car of Mumbai-Delhi Rajdhani Express early Monday and spread to adjacent two coaches, leaving passengers panic-stricken.

Two of the coaches of the train (12951) have been effected by the fire, although most passengers are reported to be safe. One of the passengers have reportedly been admitted to the civil hospital at Aalot with severe injury.

The train reportedly caught fire around 2:20 am in the morning between Alot and Vikramgarh in Ratlam area of Madhya Praesh.

The fire first broke out in the pantry car of the train, which have been completely destroyed. The fire then spread to the adjacent coaches (B6 and B7) of the express train.

According to latest reports, the fire has been completely doused.

The two coaches that caught fire were evacuated after the accident.

Medical team rushed to the spot immediately after fire broke out and provided first aid to the passengers.
