New Delhi: Passenger automobile manufacturer Honda Cars India has called its dispatched vehicals. This is done to fix up the error of faulty fuel-return pip. The company has recalled 90,000 diesel vehicles of its sedan City and compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) Mobilio.

Model-wise, the company has recalled 64,428 units of sedan City, whereas, 25,782 units of compact SUV Mobilio have been recalled.

According to the company, the voluntary recall applies to City diesel cars manufactured between December 2013 and July 2015 and Mobilio’s diesel variant produced from June 2014 to July 2015.

“There is a possibility that in some of these cars, the fuel return pipe may come out, resulting in fuel leakage and leading to engine stoppage,” the company was quoted as saying in a statement.

“The fuel return pipe and related parts will be replaced free of cost at HCIL dealerships across India from 19th December 2015 in a phased manner and the owners will be contacted individually.”
