IAS officer transferred for ordering probe into Vadra- DLF deal(Video)
Chandigarh : A senior IAS officer, in the Land Registration Department Ashok Khemka, who had ordered a probe into the land deals between Vadra and DLF on October 8, has been transferred as the DG Haryana Seed Development Corporation.
Ashok Khmeka, the then Inspector General of Registration Haryana had asked the deputy commissioners cum registrars of the four districts of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Palwal and Mewat to inspect all documents registered from January 1, 2005 to till date by or on behalf of Robert Vadra.
He was transferred within three days after issuing the directives. However, before leaving the office on October 15th Ashok Khemka cancelled the mutation of a 3.531 acre plot of land in Manesar-Shikohpur which Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra sold to DLF for Rs 58 crore in 2009, citing irregularities in the transfer of land.
