Morena (Madhya Pradesh): On Sunday, a three-year-old child fell into a 100-foot-deep borewell in a field in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh. A police official said, the army’s help has been sought in the rescue effort being carried out.
Raghav was a son of a villager named Devendra Sharma and had gone along with his grandmother to the fields in Nand Gangoli village where he was playing and he fell into the borewell.
Morena district Superintendent of Police Vineet Khanna told that police and revenue department teams have reached the spot and a rescue operation has been launched. The army has been requested to help.
The child was stuck 60-feet underground in the borewell, he said by adding that he was being provided oxygen to enable him breathe. Through cameras pushed down the borewell, the movements of the child were being monitored.
