India more corrupt over last three years: Report
About 74 percent Indians feel that corruption has increased over the last three years, according to Transparency International (TI) survey “Global Corruption Barometer 2010” released on Thursday.
Indians identify that political parties are the most corrupt, followed by police, parliament, public officials, education, business-judiciary-NGO, media, religious bodies, and military; the report points out.
TI, based in Berlin, has put India alongside Iraq, Nigeria, and Afghanistan in the most corrupt category.
