Indian fishermen held in Pakistan

Twenty-two Indian fishermen have been arrested in Pakistan for allegedly violating the neighbouring country’s maritime boundary.

Reports from Islamabad on Saturday said that the fishermen were apprehended on Thursday and handed over to police in Karachi.

Five boats were reportedly seized along with the fishermen.

They were arrested on charges of violating Pakistan’s territorial waters.
