Infant from Punjab sold on Facebook, found in Delhi

Ludhiana  : In a shocking incident, the Punjab Police has rescued a baby boy, who was reportedly sold off using social networking site Facebook, to a New Delhi resident for 8 lakh rupees.

According to police said, the child’s mother was told by her father that the newborn was dead, who then allegedly sold the baby to a woman help in the hospital for Rs. 45,000.

She in turn sold the infant for three lakhs to Gurpreet Singh, a lab assistant in the same hospital.
