Jagan ready to tie up with BJP for Muslims

YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday said he is ready for tie-up with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) provided the latter supports reservation for Muslims.

“If BJP agrees to support reservation for Muslims at the national level, I will join hands with them,” Reddy said while addressing minority community members at Proddatur town near Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh.

“My father and I are symbols of integrity in the state politics. I will have alliance with any political party, including BJP, which works for the welfare of Muslims,? said the son of late Chief Minister YSR Reddy.

The former Congress leader has recently launched his own political party to work for the people of Andhra Pradesh.

Reddy had claimed that the Congress had humiliated him and his family despite his father did all he could for the party and died for things he loved to do.

He quit his Kadapa Lok Sabha seat and his mother also resigned as an MLA of Pulivendula last year.
