l will play IPL if taken: Sourav Ganguly

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly on Wednesday reiterated that he would play the Indian Premier League (IPL) if he was taken by any team.

Asked by a Bengali channel if he would agree to replace any player who got injured in the World Cup and might not be able to play the IPL beginning right after the Cup, the former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain replied in the affirmative.

Asked in what form would he be seen in the World Cup, he said “of course not as critic, but as analyst.”

He said he would be a positive analyst of the game since he himself faced a lot of criticism.

On Monday Sourav Ganguly kicked up a storm with an interview to a national channel that quoted him saying he would quite all forms of cricket.
