MCA gears up in advance; 21 points for Haj 2012

For smooth and confortable Haj for Haj pilgrimage, Civil Aviation minister, Ajit Singh held a meeting. Haj operation may start in other half of September this year and flights would take Hajis from 21 points in country.

There will be penalty for Air Charter service on non-tagging, non-weighing of baggage or absence of airline personnel at help desks in Jeddah and Madina.

This year about 1,25,000 pilgrims are expected to visit Saudi Arabia through HOCI to perform Haj.

To facilitate the pilgrims, 21 embarkation points for Haj 2012 have been year-marked in the country.
