No differences with Baba Ramdev: Anna Hazare

Gandhian social activist Anna Hazare, the hero of a similar campaign last April, after voicing his full support to Baba Ramdev?s fast, announced on Thursday that he will join the yoga guru in his hunger strike when it begins on June 4.

“I will join Baba Ramdev in his fight against corruption on June 5. I will talk to him on how to go forward with this fight,? Hazare told reporters.

He also warned Ramdev not to walk into the trap of the government on the issue, alleging that the government cheated them on the issue of Lokpal Bill.

?The government has tried to cheat us. The government had assured us that they would look into our demand I will support Baba so that the government cannot do what it did when we were fighting. We will fight together against corruption,? Hazare said.

Hazare also there are no differences between them over the Jan Lokpal Bill.

“There are no two views on Lokpal bill between us and Baba,” he said.

Pertinently, Hazare?s 98-hour-long hunger strike in April had compelled the Central government to form a joint-committee to freshly draft the Jan Lokpal Bill (Citizen?s Ombudsman Bill) pushed back for 42 years.

Meanwhile, Ramdev is holding serious talks with the government on Thursday as the administration desperately tries to persuade him to not go ahead with a fast-unto-death on the black money recovery issue from June 4 here.
