Oil mafia attacks police party

Nagpur : A week after oil mafia burnt alive a Maharashtra government official, the oil adulterators on Tuesday attacked police teams on way to conduct raids against them.

Suspected oil adulterators pelted stones at a police party that was on way to Rajurwadi, near Nagpur, to conduct raids.

Some vehicles were damaged in the incident but the situation brought under control soon.

No person was injured in the incident.

Oil mafia had burnt alive additional district collector Yashwant Sonawane near Manmad in Nashik district on Jan 25.
