Pakistan on Wednesday allegedly violated the ceasefire at the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir and fired at three Indian posts.
Heaving firing was reported at Krant, Kirpa and Ravi posts of Poonch district on Wednesday afternoon.
Rocket-propelled grenades and small arms were being fired at Indian posts, Indian security forces claimed.
The Indian troops took position and fired back, leading to heavy exchange till late in the evening.
No casualty has been reported yet.
This is the second violation in three days after Pakistani forces opened fire at Indian posts in Krishna Ghati of Poonch in which one Indian Army soldier was killed.
