Pakistan Representative Excoriate Indian ‘extremists’

New Delhi, Oct 20: Here Islamabad’s High Commissioner Abdul Basit has said, “Extremist elements” in India do not want improvement in relations with Pakistan.

On Tuesday, he said while taking part in a TV programme, Pakistan wanted to address all issues, including terrorism and Kashmir, with India through dialogue, Radio Pakistan quoted him as saying.

The envoy lamented rising violent incidents in Maharashtra, adding that attacks by “extremist Hindus” on Muslims in India were a reason of worry.
“These extremist elements disrupted a scheduled meeting between the heads of the cricket boards of the two countries,” he said.
