President mukherjee’s wife cremated in new delhi

The mortal remains of First Lady Suvra Mukherjee were consigned to flames at a crematorium in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The funeral ceremony was attended by a host of political leaders including Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, opposition Congress party president Sonia Gandhi.

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and many other Cabinet ministers paid their last respects to the First Lady and offered condolence to President Pranab Mukherjee.
