New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent his greetings to the nation on the occasion of Navratri, seeking the blessings of goddess Jagdamba.

“As the auspicious festival of Navratri begins, I convey my warm greetings to everyone. We bow to Maa Jagdamba and seek her blessings,” said Prime Minister Modi.
“May Maa Jagdamba enrich our lives with strength, well-being, good health and may she keep inspiring us to serve the poorest of the poor,” he added. Navratri, literally meaning nine nights, falls this year from Septermber 25 to October 3. It is a festival to worship goddess Durga.
It culminates on the tenth day, known as Dussehra, which marks the victory of good over evil.
