New Delhi : Commenting on Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s statement that rapes are taking place not only in Haryana but other states also, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev today said that if her daughter was raped then she would have realized the actuality of her statement.
Gandhi during her visit to Haryana had made the statement after meeting the kin of minor rape victim, who succumbed to severe burn injuries after setting herself on fire.
Hitting back at the Yoga Guru, Minister of State for Agriculture and Parliamentary Affairs, Harish Rawat said that Ramdev’s comment was regrettable.
Similarly, Congress president of Gujarat unit, Arjun Modhwadia, said that Ramdev’s comment was uncivil and not worthy of a saint.
