Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (CGOC) chief Suresh Kalmadi said that he will co-operate will all the investigating agencies after Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided his house here on Friday.
“I have offered my all co-operation. Reports saying that I am interfering in investigations is not true. OC has given all documents,” said Kalmadi.
The CBI had alleged that Kalmadi, a Congress MP from Maharashtra, was obstructing the investigation process.
He said: “The issue is, we have 5-6 agencies in the OC. We have given them all the documents and if they have not received any document, we will give them again.”
“I have written a letter to CBI chief assuring him that I will extend my full co-operation to them. My budget is 3-4 percent of the total budget allocated for CWG,” he said.
The CBI also raided the houses of Manoj Bhore, the personal secretary of Kalmadi.
The simultaneous raids come just two days after the Government’s admission that it was helpless to remove Kalmadi from post of chairmanship because it is an autonomous body.
