Sonia accuses BJP of running corrupt state governments

Mangalore  : Alleging the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of pretending to fight corruption, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has accused the BJP of running corrupt state governments.

Affirming that her party had done more to fight corruption by passing the Right to information (RTI) Act, she claimed that the BJP scuttled the Lokpal bill in the Rajya Sabha.

She also urged her party workers to fight religious prejudice and hatred spread by the BJP and its allied organisations.
