Chennai : Even as the DMK held its first executive meet following its split from the UPA on Monday, the party’s internal warfare pitting Chief M Karunanidhi against his son, MK Alagiri went from bad to worse, as an unhappy Alagiri did not attend the meet.
The DMK met on Monday to pass a stern resolution against the UPA government over the Lanka issue.
Alagiri, the older son of Karunanidhi, did not however attend the meet reportedly, to record, his protest against not being consulted on the decision to walk out of the Congress-led government at the Centre.
