Trends of five states at 7 pm

Trinamool Congress-Congress rewrote history in Bengal as they won 226 seats while Left Front bagged only 62 seats in West Bengal, out of the 294 available.

In Tamil Nadu, out of the 234 seats trends available, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) is leading in 203 seats while Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) and alliance are ahead in 31 seats.

In Kerala, Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) will form the next government in Kerala as they defeated the Left Democratic Front (LDF), led by the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) by a narrow margin of two seats on Friday.

Out of the 140 seats Congress won 72 seats while Left Front bagged 68 seats.

In Puducherry, AINRC (All India NR Congress)- AIADMK coalition won 19 seats and defeated Congress and alliance, who secured 9 seats, out of the 30 seats available.

In Assam, out of the 126 seats, Congress won 74 seats while the main opposition party Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) bagged 11 seats. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 5 seats.
