Two headed boy born in Rajasthan
Jaipur : Nature takes another turn as a baby boy takes birth with two heads and a single body in Jaipur.
The 2-headed boy was born in Tonk district of Rajasthan on Wednesday and was brought to J.K. Lone hospital of Jaipur on the same day for tests.
Dr. S.D. Sharma, medical superintendent of J.K. Lone hospital said that such cases are very rare, especially in boys and are called Dicephalic Parapagus.
He added that this is the first case in Rajasthan and second in India. The doctor also said that the boy’s heads, nervous system and backbone are separate.
The backbone joins below at the pelvis and he has one rib cage and shoulder girdle.
