Argentina?s Messi on the market for 255 m pounds!

London, Aug.4 (ANI): Barcelona and Argentine superstar Lionel Messi will be offered a new eight million-pound-a-year long-term deal.

According to The Sun, Barca also wants a 255 million pound buy-out clause included in the 22-year-old football star”s contract.

However, according to another report appearing in the web site goal.com, Messi is to be handed a golden contract that will see him become the highest paid player at Barcelona, with a buy-out clause of 300 million Euros.

The Argentinian ace will sit down and discuss the new deal when the squad returns from the United States, as the Catalan giants want him to remain as their top earner.

Barcelona has reportedly agreed to offer their homegrown star new terms.

Messi will be offered 9.5 million-Euros per-season and see his buy-out clause doubled to 300 million Euros, 50 million Euros more than Ibrahimovic”s.

Barca will also offer the player 500,000 Euros in bonuses, with more incentives added on, to ensure that he not attracted by the riches that may be on offer at other major European clubs.

Jorge Messi, Leo”s father and agent, has already held informal discussions about the deal, and those will be made concrete later this month.

The player himself has always stated that he is committed to the club that signed him as a youngster and provided the medical treatment he required to grow. (ANI)
