Russian war plane crashes killing 11

Moscow : A Russian military cargo jet, Antonov An-22, crashed on the border between Russia’s Tula and Oryol regions, killing all 11 crew members aboard, police said on Wednesday.

A preliminary report said the cargo plane was carrying 11 personnel and they were all killed.

The massive turboprop aircraft was flying between Voronej and Tver when it disappeared from radar screens.
