At least 28 people were killed early Sunday in a collision between a bus and a methanol-loaded tanker in northwest China’s Shaanxi province, police said.
The two vehicles caught fire after the collision in Yan’an city around 2 a.m., Xinhua reported.
Three people survived, but suffered injuries, police said.
A total of 28 bodies have been found in the vehicle wreckage.
The exact toll is not known as the number of people in the 39-seater bus could not be determined.
