12 killed in Pak blast, Jamait chief ?fine?

At least 12 people were killed and over 29 others injured in a powerful blast near the convoy of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman here on Thursday, but the leader escaped unhurt.

The blast occurred in Peshwar’s Charsadda near a Divisional Commercial Officers (DCO) office.

According to local news channels, 12 people were killed, while 29 others were injured in the blast.

Rehman’s vehicle was damage, reported Geo News.

“I am fine, blast damaged my jeep and some soldiers in my convoy are injured,? Rehman told the Pak-based channel.

Blasts are frequent occurrences in Peshwar region now, killing many in various incidents.
