8 killed, 13 injured in Pak blasts

Peshawar : At least eight people, including six security personnel, were killed and over 13 others were injured in two separate blasts in Pakistan on Friday, reports said.

At least two people were killed and 11 others were injured after a mosque was blasted in Pakistan?s Peshwar town on Friday, said Dawn News.

The explosion took place at Pishtakharra area. The injured were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex.

In a separate incident, at least six security personnel were killed and two others were wounded in a landmine blast at Pakistan?s federally administered tribal area Upper Orakzai Agency, said Geo News.
The landmine went off while a security convoy vehicle was passing over it in Yekh Kando area of Upper Orakzai Agency.

The entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation launched to track down the terrorists.
