Ijaj Butt to talk to ECB on his remarks
London : Pakistan Cricket Board’s chief Ijaz Butt is expected here later on Tuesday from Pakistan in an attempt to sort out ongoing disputes between PCB and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on the spot-fixing scandal.
Knowledgeable sources in the ongoing disputes said PCB chairman is likely to bring Board’s legal advisor, Tafazzul Rizvi.
The PCB Chairman will consult with the lawyers here about the reply that is to be sent to the ECB and English players, who have demanded an unconditional apology and compensation from Butt for making a statement in which he allegedly said that English players were involved in fixing.
The PCB has directed its lawyers in London to file a reply to the letter sent to Butt by the ECB on behalf of the English players last week.
