Suicide bombers kill Pak DSP Rashid Khan

Peshawar : Deputy Superintendent of Police Rashid Khan and three others were killed in a suicide bomber attack at Garhi Qamardin in Pakistan’s Peshawar district on Monday.

Police said two suicide squad members, attached with explosives and carrying weapons, attacked a police vehicle on Kohat Road, blowing it off and killing themselves as well instantly.

Besides four people, including a passerby, being killed, at least 15 others were injured in the attack.

The wounded were sent to hospitals.

Police believe the DSP was the target of the suicide attackers.

DSP Rashid Khan was on a routine patrol on the outskirts of Peshawar.
