Twitterati shocked at Farrell’s death

Fans of popular singer Bobby Farrell are yet to recover from shock as he breathed his last at the age of 61 here last night.

Reports said the singer, who was in St. Petersburg for a performance, was found dead in his room.

His agent John Seine said that the singer had complained about breathing problems right after as well as before his performance, though the cause behind his death is still not clear.

Bobby?s fans have started posting their reactions on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Bobby was best known as the only male member of the successful pop and disco group named ?Boney M? which had gained immense popularity since 1970?s.

Bobby Farrell and his band Boney M will always remain in the hearts of his fans for producing few of the popular number of all times like ?Daddy cool? and ?Ma Baker?.

The talented singer was born in Aruba. However, it was in Germany where producer Frank Farian spotted him for his new Boney M. group.

The Boney M group comprised of three girl members- Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett, Maizie Williams, apart from Bobby.
