Pasadena (California) : Police are looking for two suspects in the killing of a 22-year-old Indian man who worked at a convenience store during a purported robbery early Christmas morning.
Jayachandra Elaprolu, hailing from Andhra Pradesh and working in the store for less than a month, was shot five times, reports said.
The incident is said to have taken place at a fuel station at San Augustine and Beltway 8 about 2:20 a.m., when a man wearing a bulky black jacket and a black ski-mask shot the clerk and took the cash register, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Pasadena police are also seeking a second man, an apparent customer, who walked disinterestedly right by the gunman carrying a 9mm semiautomatic pistol.
Investigators have released a surveillance video which shows the two suspects.
