Orange Hi-Fi decoder, for listening to digital music on a stereo system

With the Orange Hi-Fi decoder connected to a Livebox, you can use your stereo for listening to digital music stored on a computer, and to thousands of web radio stations, via the Liveradio service.
The Hi-Fi decoder interacts with all home equipment, via a Wi-Fi connection.

The Orange Hi-Fi decoder gives a new lease of life to your home stereo system:
– Enjoy the convenience and quality of your stereo system for listening to digital music stored on a computer, network hard disk, USB stick, MP3 player (compatible with USB Mass Storage) etc.
– Play most available music formats: MP3, AAC, WAV, Real Audio, or WMA without DRM.

With this new Orange product you can also use the Liveradio service, for access to thousands of web radios worldwide, plus podcasts and other content.

Easy to install, easy to use

The Orange Hi-Fi decoder is automatically recognized as a Wi-Fi device, for trouble-free wireless connection to the Livebox. It features standard audio Hi-Fi connectors for hooking up to any stereo or home cinema system. It can be used by any customer with an Ethernet or Wi-Fi internet network.
You use the decoder screen and remote control to select tunes stored on a computer or other digital device for playing on the stereo system, with no other connection required (thanks to UPnP DLNA compatibility).
The Orange Hi-Fi decoder goes on sale from 20 August, in Orange stores, on orange.fr and by phone (10 14, toll-free from landline in France). The price is ?29 untill 30 September 2009 then ?69 thereafter, with subscriptions to any of the new Orange web music options.
